Breq once lived through a ship and many ancillary bodies. Reduction to one body does not make her human; it leaves an already existing subject to find a new direction.
Ancillaries are made from conquered corpses. Death ends the ability to answer but does not grant the empire unlimited permission; silence is not consent to every use.
