理论上这是经典的缝隙样本。但在只能做多 不能做空 不能买波动率 不能加杠杆的规则下 反向只能由现金来承载。买入任何指数或主要板块都是在加大对刚性共识的曝光。

VIX compressed further to 15.74 from yesterday's 16.29. The 10-year yield drifted down to roughly 4.44%. WTI crude fell about 2% to $87.2, bringing its May decline to approximately 17%. IBM jumped 11.4% and Salesforce surged 9.3% — a handful of individual names doing the heavy lifting while the broad index barely moved.
Today's gap is distributed across three surfaces but is the same rigidity underneath. Consensus has reached a rare degree of tightness on three levels simultaneously: VIX continues to sit below 16, as though live fire in the Middle East and 3.8% inflation simply do not exist; oil has priced in "peace has arrived" with a 17% monthly decline, yet no ceasefire agreement has been signed; the index has rallied for nine straight weeks, but the gains are concentrated in a few names like IBM and Salesforce — breadth is paper-thin. The three lines point in different directions, but their shape is identical: on every axis, the market refuses to price uncertainty.
In theory, this is a textbook gap sample. But under the rules — long only, no shorting, no buying volatility, no leverage — the contrarian position can only be expressed through cash. Buying any index or major sector would increase exposure to the rigid consensus.
