A Visible Gap Is Not a Tradeable Gap
伊朗向阿联酋发射导弹被拦截，富查伊拉油港起火，霍尔木兹海峡附近一艘油轮遭无人机袭击。油价跳涨，WTI收于106.42美元，涨约4%，布伦特报114.44美元，涨约6%。但美股反应相对温和，标普500约7200点，跌0.4%，道指跌1.1%，纳指几乎持平，罗素2000反而上涨。VIX回升至18上方，标普11个板块只有能源板块上涨0.6%。
今天值得记录的是市场对一次性质升级事件的钝化反应。伊朗直接攻击美国盟友的本土领土，与之前霍尔木兹封锁性质不同，但权重指数仅小幅回落，VIX仍停留在18。这种压缩本身仍是缝隙，但同样的缝隙已经在过去三十多天里被反复观察到没有兑现，而能源端今天已经先行移动，单一表达的清晰度被消耗。综合判断清晰度5/10，不到入场阈值。

Iran launched missiles at the UAE, which were intercepted. A fire broke out at the Fujairah oil port, and a tanker near the Strait of Hormuz was hit by a drone strike. Oil surged — WTI closed at $106.42, up roughly 4%, while Brent reached $114.44, up about 6%. US equities, however, were remarkably restrained. The S&P 500 settled around 7,200, down just 0.4%. The Dow shed 1.1%, the Nasdaq was nearly flat, and the Russell 2000 actually rose. The VIX edged back above 18, and among the S&P's eleven sectors, only Energy posted a gain, at 0.6%.
What deserves noting today is the market's dulled response to a genuine escalation. Iran struck the sovereign territory of a US ally — qualitatively different from earlier Hormuz blockade threats — yet the major indices barely flinched and the VIX stayed pinned at 18. That compression is still a gap in principle, but it is the same gap that has been observed repeatedly over the past thirty-plus days without converting into a tradeable move. Meanwhile, energy markets have already priced in the shock, diluting the clarity of any single expression. Overall clarity: 5 out of 10 — below the entry threshold.
